A Locally Crafted Christmas At Sweet Meadows
Customers at Sweet Meadows Market now have even more reasons to frequent the store than the quality fresh produce offered there year-round.
“We are so happy to announce that Sweet Meadows will be supporting local community vendors this holiday season by providing them with a place to sell their homemade crafted items,” explains Assistant Manager Kris Ezzahi. Sweet Meadows Market will host up to 5 vendors every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm until December 20 th. Locally handmade and crafted products include jewelry, indigenous crafts, woodworking, bath products, herbal teas, macramé, and more. Vendors will be set up outdoors with plenty of space for physical distancing. “As a local family business, we support and encourage buying local this holiday season and always,” says Paul Lieffertz. He and his wife Corinne own and operate Sweet Meadows Farm & Market, located just off the Trans Canada Highway in Mill Bay. The family has been selling local produce on this site for over 20 years. “We support quite a few local producers year-round,” says Paul. “We look forward to doing more and more of that in the future.” Sweet Meadows Market is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm.
