Seedy Saturday

The Cowichan Green Community (CGC) is hosting a virtual Seedy Saturday on January 30th.

The event will include virtual workshops ranging from soil health, hydroponics, growing and using herbal medicine, and meadow-making. There will be a mix of live and pre-recorded zoom workshops. The event will be a sliding scale entrance fee - including options to have recordings if you can’t make it to the live event! As always, this Seedy Saturday event will be free to CGC members (cowichangreencommunity.org/product/cgc-membership) on top of the other great membership benefits.

There is a Seed Library at the Garden Education Centre (2431 Beverly St.) as well as a Seed Swap at the time of the event. Seedy February will launch after the event where you can find local seeds for the entire month at reFRESH Cowichan Marketplace (360 Duncan St.) and online at Cow-Op (cow-op.ca). Keep posted on social media and the website at cowichangreencommunity.org for more information as the event approaches.
